5. Water – electric pipes Easy to groove, ease working process Easy to groove, ease working process Hard to groove and may cause crack problem later

There are 9 important distinguish properties which differentiate SUPERBLOCK from red brick;

  1. Superblock is stronger and possesses better compressive strength than red brick
  2. Superblock can be used as the heat insulator 6 times better than red brick
  3. 2 – 4 times lighter than red brick which helps to save the structure
  4. Heat prevention in summer, energy consumption from using air conditioning can be saved up to 60%
  5. Superblock can be nicely plastered without causing any crack problems. Only 10 mm of plaster thickness is require which helps to reduce plaster mortar usage up to 60%
  6. Superblock can be easily cut and can be rapidly laid since it is 3 times larger than red brick
  7. Superblock can resist the fire for longer than 4 hours
  8. Superblock possesses better sound insulation (without an echo) than red brick
  9. Superblock has been manufactured according to TIS and ISO9001:2000 standards which makes each piece has the precise dimension

Apart from what have been mentioned above, SUPERBLOCK had received 4 th quality level standard from TIS as the first autoclaved aerated concrete manufacturer in Thailand. Quality level is the criteria to categorize the standard among autoclaved aerated concrete manufacturers. For instance, compressive strength of the product under 4 th quality level is 5.0 N/mm 2 while 2 nd quality level is only 2.5 N/mm 2. These figures will have the effect on the strength of the products. Product under 4 th quality level has the density rate of 510 to 800 kg / m 3 while the density of 2 nd quality level is only 310 to 500 kg / m 3. This means that the product under 4 th quality level has more content in the material which creates a positive impact to the fire resistant, sound and heat insulation properties. Especially water absorption rate which is lesser in products under 4 th quality level which will cause plaster cement to lose less water and reduce crack related problems on the finishing surface as well.
